(You put on the left side and then the right side, or put it on in the reverse order to wear the other side out.) Functional ties at the shoulder-tops (are those cute or what?) that look like two butterflies perched fetchingly on your shoulders. Waist fastened with covered buttons. This dress contains more than 5 yards of 100% hand-woven cotton ikat "sharkskin" fabric! We have this fabric especially woven for us from colored fibers going in one direction and black in the other woven direction to give it an iridescence that creates lovely shadows... the effect is very slimming, too! |
