A few things to keep in mind-

Because of the pigments used in rayon prints, we often find that our solid color rayons are often not heavy enough to use for entire garments but are better-suited for contrast and trim combined with a print.

As we dye more of our own fabrics, we are trying to find heavier rayons to use as the base fabric so that we *can* use some of the solid colors we offer to make an entire garment and be pleased with the result.

Our solid color ikat cottons look terrific in most of our styles, but for example on the 40's pants, rayon is a much better- suited choice

Since our fabrics come from many different sources, we will need to tell you at the time you submit an order whether or not the particular fabric you have chosen is well-suited to the style you want. Please understand that we only do this based on experience and because we want you to be delighted with the end result!
