Printed just for Whirlingturban and reminiscent of an antique doll, a motif of "tattered" lace silhouetted on taupe was hand printed on crisp cotton. The fabric and workmanship of the dress are pristine.

Our charming Wing Bust style was made by studying an original from the 50's designed by the brilliant Alfred Shaheen. The lines are ingeniously flattering and the "wings" at the bust dramatic and whimsical. Waist is flatteringly dropped a bit. Note the alluring ruching above the bust.Clinging, structured, boned bodice. A complex designer dress that wold cost 3 or 4 times this price in a bridal store.

The dress has couture, hand-sewn bows of pure silk shantung. Included is the matching halter strap, but the dress can also be worn strapless.

The taupe crinoline petticoat is not included but please inquire if you'd like one in taupe, or we can tell you where to buy a black or white crinoline.
