The Shape: our so very flattering and most mid-century minimal Chinese Bombshell bodice, boned and structured, with the flattering-on-every-figure 3/4 circle full skirt.

The Fabric: Our own hand-woven, limited edition pure, heavy silk fiber in the weft with natural cotton used in the warp. This is custom woven for us and has the weight look feel and drape of a real vintage fabric. The quality is without peer, then or now. Quantity is limited. [Update: Fabric is now sold out. The sample dress is for sale; inquire- approx waist 27". We can make this for you in another fabric and depending your on fabric choice it may be less expensive :). There is also a small chance we will get a limited quantity of some very similar fabric.)

The Embellishment: Hand-made but very uniformly made Marigold or tiny Carnation-shaped flowers made from a rayon cord; one continuous piece, so that there are no raw edges of the cord showing and so that the ends of the petals are loops. About the size of a 50-cent piece. Quantity is very limited.

The Color: Ivory

The Process: Ordering this dress starts by ordering a swatch and trying on a test bodice. Fit is our specialty and we can't imagine simply making and selling a dress like this dresses by a dress size; they are made to fit snugly and flatter YOU. Be ready for the famous Whirlingturban MOVIE STAR FIT! The difference is jaw dropping. It's couture.
