Loaner Alterations Other Changes Information

The idea of Loaner items is that they come in standard "off the rack sizes" They help you to determine whether one of our standard sizes will fit and flatter you. If the pattern, as is, fits in a manner you find pleasing, you can save money by ordering your dress in that same standard size.

You have other options as well that to customize or improve your fit but they will add to the cost of your garment. This way we can be fair and charge less to the customers who need less shop time and customer service and only make extra charges to those customers who have special fitting needs.

These are some of the additional services you might want and the charges you would incur:

Our review of a batch of fitting photos with you: $25 per "batch" (not per photo) After reviewing we can make fitting recommendations, style change recommendations and underwear recommendations.

Altering an existing pattern-or ready made dress-in a minor way to personalize the fit for you: $25 to $100, depending on complexity of the alteration.

Adding a minor customization/change of style- $25 and up, depending on complexity.

Major customization or creation of new design: $250 - $2000

Creating a completely personal pattern for you in an existing style, if one of our existing patterns cannot be altered to fit you. $100 to $250
